LaVergne Rotary Club Launches Website

Posted in Club News, Press Release by josh on the August 24th, 2007

Mack Barrett, President of the LaVergne Rotary Club, authorized the official launch of LaVergneRotaryClub.org, the club’s official website today.  The Board of Directors and President Barrett have been deliberating on the move,  and decided that now the timing was right.  The website will be a great tool for promoting club activities and events.  It also serves as a Public Relations center – a place for the citizens of LaVergne to learn more about their Rotary Club, and what Rotary is doing for the community.

“The LaVergne Rotary Club is taking a leadership role”, says Ken Ivey of MidTN Technology, a Murfreesboro web design firm.  “While many individual Rotarians are early adopters of technology, clubs as a whole have yet to embrace a web presence as a means to promote Rotary involvement in their communities.  LaVergne is definitely leading the pack.”

Currently, only 30% of Rotary Clubs in District 6760 have websites.
